Mobile Suit Gundam (1979)

The one that started it all. An absolute classic, Mobile Suit Gundam tells the story of how a teenaged boy named Amuro Ray gets swept up in a brutal civil war between the nations of the Earth and the rebelling space colonies. This Neo-Confederacy calls themselves the Principality of Zeon. There are no winners in war.

Along the way they collect other girls all with their own dreams and goals to form the group μ's! The co-queen of semi-fictional idols, Love Live is a legend amongst the animusic scene.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

What can I say about Puella Magi Madoka Magica besides, in the wise words of Daitaku Helios, "....shuki." A wonderful mix of the magical girl and horror genres, the Faustian story of tragedy and woe is greatly helped along by the wonderful art of Inu Curry for the Witch lairs. Myself, I join a few different weebs on the internet who have found quite a bit of Christian themes and ideas in the show. Horror, cute girls, time travel, yuri, and (good) Christian ideas, it is no wonder I've been obsessed with this show for years.
